Lawn care during dry weather.

Signs of stress – Seeing your footprints in the grass, colour looking brown or yellow.

Mowing – Lift the blades on the mower, don’t mow as often and leave the grass clippings on the lawn, they will shade the soil conserving moisture.

Watering – Give a good watering twice a week, early in the morning is the best time. If you water heavily it will help the grass develop a deep root system.

Aerating, scarifying and fertilising are good annual practices to help establish a greener and more resilient lawn.
